What this survey delivers.
Estimate and bill of quantities for a plotting project or infrastructure work, taken off the designed sections rather than a per-square-foot thumb rule. Earthwork from real cut-and-fill volumes, internal roads, stormwater and drainage lines, retaining structures, water supply and compound work — priced to government DSR rates or your own rate schedule so every line can be defended. We also prepare measurement-book entries, running-bill documentation, price variation and escalation working for infrastructure contracts. Estimation and billing for road, drainage and stormwater work has been our own core practice since 2007, and we are empanelled with PMC.
Why this survey matters
An estimate is only as good as the design it is taken off. A per-square-foot figure hides the two items that actually decide whether a plotting project makes money — the earthwork on a sloped site, and the length of internal road and drainage the layout forces on you. Both come out of the survey and the layout, which is why we prefer to estimate off our own drawings.
We state our assumptions rather than bury them. Rates are identified as DSR or client schedule, quantities are traceable to a drawing, and what the estimate cannot predict — rate escalation, a change in scope — is written down as an assumption instead of quietly absorbed. That is what lets you take the number to a lender, a partner or a tender committee.
